Best Birthday present... ever??

It was always a dream of mine to see New York!! I loved the idea of such a big city. Loud and crazy and full of fashion and art. I thought I would have to wait till I was old to ever get the chance to go.

On my eighteenth birthday, my mom was so excited to give me my present. It was a small box in blue wrapping paper.. "hhhmm what could this be?" I opened the box to find a black leather wallet. "Oooh.. cool..thanks" I said with a awkward smile. Mom looked at me in a funny way.. "well open it up!" she said. Inside, was 2 plane tickets!! "OMG" I said, not even knowing the destination of the tickets. Upon further reading I saw the words LaGuardi NEW YORK CITY!!!!!!! dream come true
Mom told me I could give the other ticket to whoever I wanted. Naturally, I gave it to her. :) Love you Mom!!
